"Authentic worship begins with a heart fully devoted to Christ and a love that welcomes others into His presence."

My Story
I was blessed to grow up in church, but for many years my faith felt more like something I knew about than a relationship I truly experienced. When I was twelve years old, God met me in a deeply personal way, and His love transformed my life. That moment became the foundation of my faith and began a relationship with Christ that continues to shape every area of my life.
Music has always been part of who I am. From a young age, I knew I wanted to pursue music as my life’s work, but at fourteen I sensed God’s specific call to music ministry. I realized He had given me musical gifts not simply to perform, but to help lead others into His presence through worship.
Attending Carson-Newman University was one of the most meaningful seasons of my life. During those years, I grew not only as a musician but also as a follower of Christ. Through the guidance of gifted professors, the encouragement of lifelong friends, and both joyful experiences and difficult challenges, God prepared me for ministry in ways I could not have imagined. My time there strengthened my faith, refined my musicianship, and gave me a deeper understanding of what it means to serve others with excellence and humility.
Serving as Minister of Music at North Jacksonville Church of God was my first opportunity to lead a worship ministry, and it became a season of tremendous growth. I learned what it means to lead with both conviction and compassion, to shepherd volunteers, to plan worship thoughtfully, and to love people well. More than anything, I discovered that ministry is not about standing on a platform—it is about serving people faithfully and pointing them to Christ.
Throughout every season of life, God has shown Himself to be faithful. He has been present on the mountaintops and in the valleys, through seasons of celebration and seasons of hardship. He has continually reminded me that His grace is sufficient and His presence never fails.
If there is one lesson that has shaped both my life and my ministry, it is the greatest commandment that Jesus gave us: to love God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength, and to love our neighbors as ourselves. My prayer is that every worship service I lead, every rehearsal I conduct, and every relationship I build reflects the love of Christ and helps others know Him more deeply.
Ministry Philosophy
My Calling
I believe God has called me to use music to help people encounter Him in genuine worship. My desire is not to perform, but to lead others in responding to God’s grace, faithfulness, and love. My highest calling is to love God and love people.
My Philosophy of Worship
Worship is more than music. It is the gathered church responding to who God is and what He has done. Every song, prayer, Scripture reading, and moment in a service should help direct people’s hearts toward Christ.
I value musical excellence because I believe it honors the Lord and serves the congregation well. At the same time, I believe authenticity is just as important. Excellence should never become performance, and worship leaders should never become the focus of worship.
Leadership
I believe healthy worship ministries are built through encouragement, preparation, humility, and teamwork.
One of my greatest joys is helping volunteers discover and develop the gifts God has given them. Whether someone is an experienced musician or serving for the first time, I want them to feel valued, encouraged, and equipped to serve with confidence.
Relationships
People are always more important than programs.
I strive to build genuine relationships, show the unconditional love of Christ, and create an environment where people feel welcomed, encouraged, and cared for.
My Prayer
My prayer is that every rehearsal, every worship service, and every ministry interaction points people to Jesus and encourages them to grow in their relationship with Him.

She strives hard to please, leads with integrity, + is able to see the big picture. Without hesitation, I would recommend her to any church needing a Music Minister.

Her skills are excellent because of her work ethic, but her heart for people stands out even more. In the day and age we live in, that is a far greater asset for someone leading a ministry than being a polished performer.
